Xiao Dong is one of the earlier attending physicians in cosmetic surgery in China. He previously worked at the Plastic and Aesthetic Center of 211 Hospital and is currently Director of Plastic Surgery at Hefei Tongyantang Hospital. He has been engaged in clinical work in the plastic and aesthetic surgery field for more than 20 years, with rich experience and superb, refined skills. He has profound expertise in comprehensive eye aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, and breast plastic surgery.

Director Xiao has also pursued advanced studies and exchanged experience at several renowned plastic surgery institutions in China. Drawing on his extensive clinical experience, he has successfully achieved breakthroughs in multiple traditional surgical methods, integrated advanced technologies from Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea with China’s strengths in plastic and aesthetic surgery, and creatively pioneered, developed, and refined a modern minimally invasive plastic surgery series that conforms to Asian aesthetic preferences and contemporary characteristics.

He has published multiple insightful papers in domestic and international academic journals, has been invited many times to attend major domestic and international plastic surgery academic exchange conferences, and has repeatedly been invited by experts from Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States to conduct exchanges. For example, he has performed surgeries alongside Korean plastic surgery experts Baek Seung-geun, Choi Seong-su, and Lee Hae-young, as well as several professors from Columbia University in the United States, exchanging surgical experience.

 

Facial feature refinement, breast contouring, comprehensive rhinoplasty, comprehensive eye aesthetic surgery, injectable minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, and body contouring.

 

1. In rhinoplasty, he flexibly uses autologous tissues such as costal cartilage, septal cartilage, and auricular cartilage for aesthetic nasal subunit reconstruction. He is one of the few experts in China skilled in the application of an integrated costal cartilage framework;

2. He has extensive experience in breast plastic surgery and has performed more than 10,000 breast plastic surgery procedures to date, including implant-based breast augmentation, autologous fat breast augmentation, breast ptosis correction, and removal of polyacrylamide hydrogel (PAAG) from the breast. He is particularly experienced in PAAG removal.
